Florida Do Not Call

Adding your number to the state list makes most sales calls illegal. Registration never expires and there is no fee.

Once your number has been on the list for 31 days, telemarketers covered by Florida law may not call you. If they do, you can report the violation and the department can pursue penalties of up to $10,000 per call.

Calls that are still allowed

  • Businesses you have an existing relationship with, for up to 18 months
  • Calls you gave express written permission to receive
  • Political campaigns, charities, and pollsters
  • Debt collectors contacting you about your own account
